LLanesTown is awesome for a walking tour. Starting from Don Paco Hotel you could reach easily well known Saint Peter´s Walk, a balcony over the sea and one of the most popular LLanes attractions. Northward from this place lies the big sea while the uprightness of the successive mountain ranges (Sierra del Cuera beyond Viango range) strikes your view from South. The highest peak of Sierra del Cuera (Torbina 1.315 meters) its completely in line with world famous Picu Urriellu (Naranjo de Bulnes) so the mighty LLanes whalers used to take that bearing called “The son over the father” when they returned to the harbour.
Walking eastward the cliffs there is a starway that drives you into SablonBeach and the Town Walls – Tourism Office is placed in the Tower – inside the Historic Downtown. Right from the Tower you could see Duque de Estrada Palace burnt during the Napoleonic War, at left Cercado Palace (XVIIth Century) and in front Our Lady of the Council Basilica (XIIIth –XVIth) with a beautiful plateresque reredos (XVI th).
From Cristo Rey Square and down to the Haven we cross Main Street one of the best examples of historic architecture in The Principality of Asturias. Main Stret starts at Town Gate and ended Saint Nicholas Gate in Saint Anne Square where is remarkable the gothic house of GaztañagaPalace. East from here you will find the ancient star fort protecting the estuary, old cannon replicas could be seen there. Following the dock and by the end are placed Agustín Ibarrola¨s Cubos de la Memoria a contemporary artwork where Ibarrola had joined the symbols of LLanes past with abstract paintings covering the different sides of the breakwater cubes.
Returning across the haven shore you´ll reach the inner harbour where you could see many examples of typical asturian popular facades with balconies some of the placed over the Town Walls. Near the bridge you could walk across Mercaderes Street and Parres Sobrino Square. Following to the right you will reach El Casino and the Town Hall. So close to Montemar Hotel it is placed former La Encarnación Covent, by this time Hotel Don Paco, that invites you to enjoy the magnificent baroque entrance from the quiet terrace.

LLanesTown is surrounded by beautiful typical small towns: Cue, Porrúa, Andrín, Parres. A visit to them will be joyful.

LLanes municipality is famous for its 30 beaches of fine sand with a lightly toasted colour.
